This exquisite and stylish black lacquer grandfather longcase clock is handpainted in Chinese Chinoserie style.
Depicting a typical Chinese waterside village scene, in glossy finish. The back panel of the case is in goldleaf and also painted with landscape scenery.

The clock movement is Hermle Brand (made in Germany) with westminster chime, featuring a brass dial with rolling moon, 3 weights and a long pendulum in a bevelled glass fronted case.
