This exquisite black and goldleaf lacquer desk is handpainted in Chinese Chinoserie style.
Depicting a typical chinese waterside village scene in glossy finish
Goldleaf are made by pasting 24 carat square goldleaf on the surface.
Drawings and painting of varies subjects are then painted by hand and then finished by a few coats of clear lacquer.
This carlton desk featuring 10 small drawers, and 3 large drawers lined with velvet and comes with a matching chair with cushion |
