Rosewood furniture, manufactured by our supplier, is based on the ancient design of Ming and Qing dynasties. Over the years, they have modified and simplified these designs to reflect the simpler style presently favoured. The manufacturing process involves not only the stringent selection of the FINEST raw materials but also the utilization of superior workmanship, which gives our furniture both elegance and splendour. Chinese furniture making uses the unique corner- joints method. This method does not require the use of screws or nails to secure the furniture together. An interlocking method called the 3-way mitred, double locking mortise-and-tenon system is used. Every piece of furniture is polished 3 times, followed by three layers of base coat and finally several layers of specially formulated varnish to create a bright crystal clear surface which exhibits the wood grain. Heat resistance is also enhanced. The wood is specially kiln- dried two or three times to reduces the moisture content to an acceptable level for UK Climates.
Why our Rosewood furniture? Quality rosewood furniture is now a scarce commodity and a sound investment. They are the antiques of tomorrow. Our furniture will appreciate through the years and will always be valued for its artistic perfection, splendour, style and elegance.
